LoomWorx makes music apps for creators. This page explains, in plain words, how buying works, what the free track check does with your music, and what we store.

Buying a plugin
Checkout is run by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record: Polar takes the payment, adds any VAT or sales tax for your country and sends your receipt. We never see your card details. Prices are one-time; there is no subscription. Your licence key is sent right after checkout and works on two Macs. Using the plugin is covered by the licence agreement shown in its installer.
Plugins marked Coming soon, In beta testing or In development are shown so you can see what we are working on. They are not for sale yet.
Refunds
VoiceLoom has a free 14-day trial, so please try it before you buy. If it does not work on your Mac, write to us within 14 days of purchase and we will help you fix it or refund you. This does not limit any rights you have under the law of your country.
The free track check
Your track is analysed inside your own browser and is never uploaded. We count how many tracks are checked (just a number). If you press Love it or Hate it, we store that answer, any comment you write, a short summary of the result (such as loudness, peak, the issues found, the genre and the heart score) and your country, for up to a year. We use it to make TrackIQ better.
Sharing a song on the Heartbreakers wall
Only if you choose to share: we store the title, artist name and link you enter and, if you tick it, a 60-second MP3 preview that your browser makes from your track. Shares are reviewed before anything is shown; approved songs appear on the wall on loomworxaudio.com for up to a year. You keep all rights to your song. By sharing you confirm you own it or may share it, and give LoomWorx free, non-exclusive permission to show the title, artist, link, scores and preview on loomworxaudio.com and in LoomWorx posts about the wall, until you ask us to remove it. The full terms are next to the share form. Ask us any time and we take it down and delete the preview. We also remove songs when someone shows they are not the uploader's. To stop abuse, your IP address is kept for one day to limit the number of shares.
Plugins and updates
VoiceLoom contacts Polar to activate your licence key, and reads loomworxaudio.com/updates.json to tell you when a new version is out. It does not send us your music or how you use it.
This website
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google for them. We use no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Mail to [email protected] is used only to answer you.
